Agencies like the FBI and U.S. Marshals have long operated in masks and conducted street-level arrests without much scrutiny. There’s a troubling pattern of selective outrage when it comes to civil rights violations. Aguilar was arrested & convicted under a new FL IMM law that🚨police & prosecutors weren’t allowed to enforce, after a fed judge blocked it in Apr. The undoc passenger in his car was also arrested under that law *a crime to enter the ST as an undoc person -among ~27 ppl arrested since the judge’s order. Within 3 days of his arrest, he was convicted & transferred to #ICE -deported to MX.
