Emeritus Prof Christopher May<p>Interestingly, and relatively quietly, a shift in the UK's model of <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/capitalism" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>capitalism</span></a> is taking place;</p><p>firms interest in & uptake of <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/employee" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>employee</span></a> ownership is on the rise; </p><p>while not without its problems its a move away from the <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/worker" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>worker</span></a>-as-cost model (albeit concentrated for now in <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/professionalservices" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>professionalservices</span></a>) </p><p>A cynic might see this as a way for <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/entreprenuers" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>entreprenuers</span></a> to cash out in a virtue signally way, but equally looking at Julian Richer as an example, this may also be a real shift (hopefully)!</p>
