Alexander<p>Kennt sich jemand mit C++ im Bereich Lowlevel im Zusammenhang mit esp-idf insbesondere rmt für <a href="https://chirpi.de/tags/esphome" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>esphome</span></a> aus?<br>Ich würde gerne ein Projekt auf den aktuellen Esphome Stand bringen, damit es auch wieder kompillierbar ist. Ich verzweifel an RMT und könnte da Hilfe brauchen.</p><p>Gerne teilen und sich bei mir melden.</p><p><a href="https://chirpi.de/tags/programmieren" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>programmieren</span></a> <a href="https://chirpi.de/tags/cpp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>cpp</span></a> <a href="https://chirpi.de/tags/esp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>esp</span></a> <a href="https://chirpi.de/tags/esp32" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>esp32</span></a> <a href="https://chirpi.de/tags/espidf" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>espidf</span></a> <a href="https://chirpi.de/tags/diy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>diy</span></a> <a href="https://chirpi.de/tags/elektronik" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>elektronik</span></a></p>

tjhowse<p>Yesterday I noticed that the pool pump wasn't running. I checked the power consumption logs and found it hasn't been running for a few days. This is very bad! High risk of soup pool.</p><p>After fixing the issue with the pump, I set up an automation in <a href="https://howse.social/tags/homeassistant" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>homeassistant</span></a> : At 09:30 every day, check the power consumption of the pump. s0 Traingirl Era<p>Gonna re-post my guide for anyone with a Mitsubishi Electric split-system Air con from the last 10ish years, on how to integrate it with Home Assistant/ESPHome for $20 with one extremely easy, reversible, safe hardware addition!<br>I've been running it without issue for 9 months now, and others have successfully followed my process.</p><p><a href="https://github.com/echavet/MitsubishiCN105ESPHome/discussions/183" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">github.com/echavet/MitsubishiC</span><span class="invisible">N105ESPHome/discussions/183</span></a></p><p>Original post here: <a href="https://cathode.church/@s0/113509209574322642" translate="no" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">cathode.church/@s0/11350920957</span><span class="invisible">4322642</span></a></p><p>I've used the integration to do stuff like automatically turn off the aircon an hour after I go to sleep, and put an automation so if we leave the house, it'll turn the aircon off in case we forgot. I also built an automation to run it in fan only mode on low for 15 minutes after being on cooling, to evaporate the moisture inside that otherwise leaves to building up mould.</p><p><a href="https://cathode.church/tags/tinkering" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>tinkering</span></a> <a href="https://cathode.church/tags/homeAssistant" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>homeAssistant</span></a> <a href="https://cathode.church/tags/homeAutomation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>homeAutomation</span></a> <a href="https://cathode.church/tags/ESPHome" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ESPHome</span></a></p>

Daniele Verducci 🧉Hello <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.ichibi.eu/tag/homeassistant" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#homeassistant</a> geeks (more specifically <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.ichibi.eu/tag/esphome" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#esphome</a> geeks). I'm facing something new: I need to control some appliances (4 motors and 1 light) with Home Assistant. I was povided with a couple of pricey RF 433mhz remotes that I really don't want to disassemble (so I cannot just solder some bodge wires to the keys pads and connect them to an <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.ichibi.eu/tag/esp8266" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#ESP8266</a> ). I need something that can receive, copy and re-send the signals mimiking the original remotes. I don't know anything about RF, don't own an SDR and don't know if the remotes use some kind of rolling code. I've seen there is some support on ESPHome for 433mhz transmitters (<a href="https://esphome.io/components/remote_transmitter.html" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://esphome.io/components/remote_transmitter.html</a>) but it's unclear to me with what hardware.<br>Anyone can point me in the right direction?
