They just had more of everything, able to bring on players and punish a fatigued and thin Germany.</p><p>But Germany didn't make it easy. They were outstanding defensively and had a puncher's chance on several counters that they were unable to capitalize on.</p><p>Berger was fantastic, preventing 1.23 goals. But one mistake cost Germany dearly.
