dasgrueneblatt<p>Jetzt ist gerade keine Hitzewelle. Für die jüngeren oder vergesslicheren unter uns: So wie es jetzt ist, das war "normales" Sommerwetter für hier. Das ist im übrigen auch der Grund dafür, warum "wir" "früher" im Sommer "in den Süden" gefahren sind.</p><p>Weil es zwar durchaus heiße Tage mit Badewetter gegeben hat, aber halt dazwischen auch gar nicht so wenige kühlere, und öfters Regen. </p><p>Wer bei zwei Wochen Sommerurlaub sicher gehen wollte, dass jeden Tag schwimmen und Hitze und Eis und um Mitternacht noch kurze Hose und ärmellos möglich war, ist weggefahren. </p><p>In den vergangenen Jahren haben wir uns dann immer öfter gefragt, warum eigentlich ausgerechnet im Hochsommer ans Mittelmeer? Ist doch total verrückt? Heiß ist es doch hier auch? Wieso dorthin, wo es noch heißer ist?</p><p>Als Erklärung kamen dann Argumente wie dass es am Meer bei Hitze angenehmer ist, oder dass die Infrastruktur dort besser passt. AccuWeather RealFeel® Temperatures blew past the 100-degree mark, air conditioners were on full blast, and cities opened cooling centers to help people cope with the intense heat.</p><p>" 'This is an incredibly hot and steamy heat wave for the month of June,' AccuWeather Chief On-Air Meteorologist Bernie Rayno said. </p><p>Tuesday's heat breaks 137-year-old record</p><p>"The heat wave peaked on Tuesday, and it wasn't just the hottest day of 2025, but the hottest weather many residents in the Northeast have experienced in over a decade.</p><p>"The mercury soared to 102 degrees in Boston on Tuesday afternoon, making it the hottest day in the city since July 22, 2011, when it reached 103.
