We stayed in Brooklyn for the Mermaid Parade, in Sunset Park. I think it’s fair to say we did not fall in love with the neighborhood, unlike some others in Brooklyn. This business was roughly across the street from our hotel. Pentax 17, Lomography Metropolis, ECN-2 development.<br>

But maybe the biggest visual difference between our Northern European cities and Korea is the use of color…<br>
Everything can be so grey up here in the north.<br>

I love high-contrast images and in Korea, I found them easily,<br>

Apparently some people want to ruin Coney Island by putting a casino there. There were many sections of the Mermaid Parade devoted to this, carrying banners saying “No Casino!” and pairs of people with these signs saying “Yes Clams” and “No Casino”.
