schamspeareJust to tell you how crappy my 2019 iMac is: besides being sluggish even when not being taxed, and besides crashing intermittently to black screen for no reason, it also takes ten minutes to empty the trash. LuísI love my 24-inch M1 yellow iMac. Currently, a MacBook Air and a Studio display would be more convenient for me, but for the price, the Studio display doesn’t seem a good option, and I don’t want to abdicate my yellow screen with a white bezel. I tried the OS9 9.2.1 CD that came with the original <a href="https://bitbang.social/tags/OSX" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#OSX</a>, but that did not work. I guess it is missing some iMac-specific bits. Regardless, my burned 9.2.2 "universal" installer CD worked beautifully. I have a 2015 <a href="https://aus.social/tags/imac" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#imac</a> that has stopped working but I think (it's been a while since I checked) it can get to the boot options screen, so I'm hoping I can make an external boot drive elsewhere and switch it over.
