MikaSo tempted by <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/Lenovo" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Lenovo</a> ’s Legion Y700 (2023) tablet. As much as I prefer and find <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/iOS" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#iOS</a> more powerful/capable/reliable over <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/Android" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Android</a>, I do think I’d love Android more on a tablet form factor/use case compared to something like <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/iPadOS" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#iPadOS</a>. I’ve always found the <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/iPad" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#iPad</a> Mini’s size and screen dimensions the perfect form factor for a tablet device, and it seems that Lenovo’s (high-end/<a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/gaming" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#gaming</a>) tablet offerings are the best/only bet for an Android tablet with comparable size/performance. Also, bcos it’s not Apple, they’re also not stingy with RAM and storage even for the base model. MikaDoes anyone know if <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/Apple" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Apple</a>'s <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/MagicTrackpad" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#MagicTrackpad</a>, the latest Type-C version, works perfectly on <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/Linux" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Linux</a>? The prior version, which has a Lightning port, does work perfectly on Linux out of the box - even when running on an LTS kernel. You'd think just a change of port wouldn't affect its usability, and I'm not sure if that might actually be the case on Linux, but on Apple's own platforms at least - you're forced to update to the latest version of <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/macOS" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#macOS</a>, <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/iOS" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#iOS</a>, and <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/iPadOS" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#iPadOS</a> for the trackpad to fully work, multi-touch/gestures and all.
