"'Less than 5% of the artists in the Modern Art Sections are women, but 85% of the nudes are female,' reads the poster, next to a female nude whose head is covered by the group's trademark gorilla mask. The figure is based on the painting La Grande Odalisque, 1814, by male painter Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres."

The "naked poster" – a yellow poster showing the back of a naked woman wearing a gorilla mask, with text that reads "Do women have to be naked to get into the Met. Museum? Less than 3% of the artists in the Modern Art sections are women, but 83% of the nudes are female." (Credit: Guerrilla Girls)

Weekend goal: a #Lua chunk (script) to help sighted users review #Braille. It's a great way to understand how visually impaired users interact with a computer using a screen reader and a Braille display. The script is simple and easy to configure. Currently, it offers a learning mode; in the future, a challenge mode will be added, along with a blog post explaining how to set it up.

On #FreeBSD it should be executable via flua:
% flua learnbraille.lua

after installing liblouis:
# pkg install liblouis

[edit] % /usr/libexec/flua learnbraille.lua
