But I get playback issues in Kodi with random square blobs on the screen every 15 or so minutes. And I have to force <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/kodi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#kodi</a> into x11 mode anyway to stop the issue of <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/kodi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#kodi</a> briefly showing the desktop between video playback.If I use <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/x11" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#x11</a>, then I lose fractional scaling for <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/gtk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#gtk</a> apps so must run at 200% on my 27" 4K monitor, so now I have to reduce fonts in <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/kde" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#kde</a> to make things look sensible. But I get an issue in <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/thunderbird" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#thunderbird</a> which causes the application window to be empty, and I have to force close the app as it does not recover.

Der soll am Fernseher im Schlafzimmer hängen. Ist um dort auch Mediatheken, YouTube, Netflix und so schauen zu können. Aber so zickig, wie sich Kodi im Moment anstellt tendiere ich dazu einen weiteren Firestick zu kaufen.

Also Auto Anmeldung aktivieren Mediathek-AddOns für <a href="https://troet.cafe/tags/ARD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#ARD</a>, <a href="https://troet.cafe/tags/ZDF" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#ZDF</a> und <a href="https://troet.cafe/tags/Arte" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Arte</a> laufen nicht. Für YouTube benötigt man einen API Key. Den bekomme ich nur wenn ich mich bei <a href="https://cloud.google.com" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank">https://cloud.google.com</a> als Entwickler registriere. Puh, alles nicht rund.

Als ich es hatte gesehen, dass das Raspberry Pi OS noch auf Buster ist. Also Upgrade auf Bullseye und dann weiter zu Bookworm. Leider machen jetzt einige Services Probleme. Das trat mit dem Update von Buster zu Bullseye auf. Da wurde aber auch empfohlen kein Update zu machen sondern neu aufzusetzen. Das mache ich dann demnächst (3/4)

Vorraussetzungen sind lediglich; mindestens zwei USB-Anschlüsse für die BT-Tastatur und die externe Festplatte, LAN-Anschluss und wenn möglich S/PDIF output. Das ganze <100€ Wenn jemand etwas passendes über hat, wäre ich nicht abgeneigt…
