The M81 and M82 galaxies are part of the M81 Group in the Ursa Major constellation. The M81 Group is one of the nearest to the Local Group and is part of the Virgo Supercluster.<br>

This image is composed from a stack of 150 four minute sub-exposures (10h total) I shot over two nights on March 11 and 24 from a Bortle 6 (bright suburban) light polluted sky. Imaging equipment: Askar FRA400 refractor telescope, ZWO ASI183MC Pro RGB camera and an Optolong L-Pro light pollution filter on a HEQ5 mount.<br>
