Magnolia stellata, the star magnolia, is a slow-growing deciduous shrub or small tree native to Japan. It bears large, showy white or pink flowers in early spring, before its leaves open. The species Magnolia stellata may be found growing wild in certain parts of the Ise Bay area of central Honshū, Japan’s largest island, at elevations of 50 to 600 m (160 to 1,970 ft). (Wikipedia)

Good morning. ⏰🫘☕

You know, there was a time when I thought I'd always be able to enjoy a beer now and then. But that’s out of the question now—these days, I even feel guilty having a lemonade. I’ve pretty much narrowed it down to water, black coffee, and unsweetened iced tea. Funny how things change. Sometimes, I wonder if life would be simpler sitting behind a 7-Eleven with a bottle in a paper bag—but, of course, I’m jesting. Like I said a couple of days ago, life is all about choices, and that doesn’t change as you get older. We all have the choice to listen to our doctor or not. And honestly, it’s not as tough as it might seem—it’s just small adjustments here and there that add up over time.
