Tis the season when gardeners are swamped with courgettes that have turned into marrows, so let me present our roasted marrow dip, aka Marrow Ganoush, served with tomatoes & basil, also from our garden. First chop the marrow into chunks and griddle it with a whole bulb of peeled garlic. Roast the lot in the oven with a load of salt, & some smokey pimenton. Finally blitz it with a load of rosemary. Add pepper & more salt to taste. Some yoghurt could be good.

Also I hope my courgettes pollinated! Then I can start taking over the entire region with the amount of seeds i’m going to get!

Once again, not a clue what i’m doing! How do I store these? Do they need to be dried out? Do I need to remove all the membrane? Will they be named Joseph? I don’t know!
