Struggles with another project have led to the unfortunate consequence of me drawing more.

Oh well.

Since it's still May, I thought I would draw a mermaid (because #Mermay is a thing). Went a little bit crazy with the hair, but I like crazy hair.

Compared to last year's mermaid drawing (baffledwizard.blogspot.com/202), I think the results are similar, but a bit more vibrant this year?

Anyway, I hope people like it.

A drawing of a mermaid sitting underwater upon a rocky outcropping surrounded by weeds and reeds. She has her tail curled curled on the rock in front of her and is looking off to one side, one arm raised protectively in front of her chest. She has long, pink hair that rises in the water around her head. Her skin is smooth and has a pale teal coloration around her face and shoulders, but becomes more mottled with blue-and-cyan scales going down the trunk of her body down to her tail fin. She possesses a couple of pairs of pink gills around her neck and has pointed, spiny ears. The irises of her eyes are lilac against dark turquoise sclera. She has spines sprouting from her forearms and frills around her hips and down the sides of her tail and torso resembling fur in places.

Oh dear! Circe the gnoll has been turned into an adorable Chumby Buddy! She has the traditional colors of a hyena, with the tawny fur with cream underbelly, and darker brown spots and tailtip. Her ears have bites and notches taken out of them, framing a messy brown fauxhawk and green eyes. Finally, she wears a heavy breastplate and pauldrons.
Phantasmas, a male blue anthropomorphic liger has been combined with the lower half of a tiger shark. He looks confidently to the viewer, fists on his hips with a smug smirk on his face. He has darker blue stripes and a light grey underbelly and muzzle, which has a thick mane of gray hair and sideburns. The colors continue onto the shark half, though a bit darker than the top half.
Chibi versions of Marvel's Taskmaster and Black Ant, along with artist and Taskmaster ultra-fan Kim Hu. Taskmaster, a supervillain dressed in blue and orange with a skull mask, white cowl, cape, gloves, tights, and boots, is squatting, twerking in front of Black Ant, another supervillain dressed in a black body suit and helmet with orange gloves, boots, and belt, and Kim, a regular human with white skin, brown hair tied into a braid to the side, a long-sleeved flower print shirt, and black pants, who are "making it rain", flicking money from their hands onto Taskmaster.
An unnamed muscular male orc sits in wait for the viewer. He has healthy green skin and ruddy brown hair with braids on the sides and top, tied back into a man-bun, as well as a lush goatee beneath the lips. He wears a faded blue shirt with the sleeves rolled up, tied in the middle with leather laces, a pair of gloves that go up midway of the forearms, a pair of black breeches with laces at the crotch and a belt around the waist, finally finishing with a pair of leather and metal boots.
