I've noticed the hate comments I get on #scoopz videos are getting less intelligent over the past week.

Usually it was like arguing with a vile, uninformed middle schooler.

Now it's like elementary school kids are cussing at me, or someone just purely cruel with no argument comes along.

I have a theory -

Only the SUPER dumb/mean ones still believe in #maga and the rest with any braincells have seen their mistakes, and stopped trolling people online.

I understand how some #youtube creators and content creators in general get such gigantic egos, and become addicted to attention.

It feels good when I post something, and it gets a ton of views. I enjoy it as it feels like my work is being admired.

It could go to someone's head. Make their ego huge if they were arrogant, and it would be easy to get addicted to the validation.

I'll try and keep my head deflated, I did it all for fun and expected nothing :)

I started wearing a beanie in all my videos, and completely eliminated one of the only insults I was regularly getting by #maga sheep, who usually just called me bald and told me to go get Rogaine or something.

They use the generic ones, calling me a beta, or calling me gay. Neither of which bothers me, as I have self confidence so the beta one doesn't work, and I am #pansexual so the gay one doesn't work.

I must be very good looking if they don't call me ugly!

Salvation Army is good for the soul.

A place where they have endless amounts of clothing my size, because I am tall and skinny unlike most Americans so they pile up, because nobody buys them.

A place where pants don't cost 60-100 dollars for absolutely NO REASON.

I bought a pair of really nice skinny jeans today, and they cost 15 dollars, and actually cost 5 dollars, because someone left a 10 in the pocket.

I got tacos with the ten.

Good days!

This "Studio Ghibli" craze is a good example of how generative AI destroys (economic and cultural) value.

In a few weeks, when people get bored/sick of the memes, what would have become of the art style that those folks in Japan spent decades perfecting? And what does that mean for any future work they'll produce?

We've already seen this with several illustration styles, which have become synonymous with no-value AI slop even when drawn by a human hand.

More random ramblings before I disappear into my bubble for the day.

I have loads of shitty things going on in my life just now, especially health wise, you all know that, I'm not exactly quiet about it 😉 The state of the world right now is terrifying, looking at the news its hard not to just give up and think what is the damn point. A relentless avalanche of fear and misery.

But.

I am still finding lots of good things. So here is a list, sort of.

1. Lots of bees and butterflies in the garden.

2. The trees are starting to bud again, everything is coming back to life after a long grey winter.

3. I have a bench to sit on and enjoy the brighter days (yes, I had to mention that again).

4. I got a flyer through the door yesterday for a garden centre, which allows me to get a free pack of bedding plants.

5. Despite being a short, fat, broken potato, I can still do the splits even if its a really bad idea - actually, maybe that one shouldn't be on the list of good things 😂

6. I have a roof over my head, food in the kitchen, a huge pile of books and lots of craft stuff to keep me busy.

7. I am lucky enough to have some wonderful friends, especially on here, just in case I haven't mentioned it, you lovely folks absolutely rock and get me through the shite times.

8. I have a theatre trip next week, while I have some apprehension about it, I am looking forward to being back in Glasgow for the day.

9. I still find the strength to giggle and be silly with the child each day, that right there is a damn good reason to keep going.

10. Its race week.

So many of the things listed are mundane, little things but they still give me a spark of joy. Moments of joy don't need to be huge things, they can just be those little things that make you pause and smile for a second. More than ever, I think we all need to find those moments.

Thank you, as ever, for reading my random thoughts, you may continue with your day 😊

You know when you're having a midnight snack and a chilli flake gets stuck in the back of your mouth, and a small cough send it up your schnozz, and it becomes a whole ordeal?

Yeah, me too. Now.
