In Bash, (once you hit Esc) you can edit in the line, or hit v to open up $EDITOR. But in the line, it’s really only vi, not Vim! So you can’t daw or ciw. Turns out I use the word text-object all the time! Very frustrating!</p>

rodhlann 🌶️<p>Anyone have opinions on <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/RustRover" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RustRover</span></a>? </p><p>I have been pretty happy with <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/rustlang" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>rustlang</span></a> integrations in VSCode, Helix, and NeoVim, so I'm not sure I need yet another editor jingling around on my keychain. </p><p>I have enjoyed WebStorm for JS/TS at work, which was a nice pivot from IntelliJ from my Java years. Mostly the familiar key bindings are what drew me there. </p><p>Interested to hear what people think, now that these are all free for non-commercial use!</p>
