Sunken Boat In Noyo Harbor II

There is something about old derelict boats that draws me to them. I have a number of images of this boat in my galleries.
The boat sank a few years ago in one of the major storms that hit Northern California. I'm only guessing that the bilge pump was not in working order.

This is an image of an old fishing boat. This boat was moored at Noyo Harbor in Ft. Bragg California. The boat sank in a storm back a few years ago. It has since deteriorated even more. The hull is sticking out of the water at an odd angle as the boat is sitting on the bottom of the river near a boat ramp. One of the planks that makes up the hull is missing. There is a green mold thatis taking over the boat as it grows up towards the cab from the river. Most of the paint has pealed off the wooden structure and there are a couple of broken windows. Behind the boat is the dock that it was once tied up to.

Sunken Boat In Noyo Harbor II This is the same boat as my image, "Sunken Boat In NoyoHarbor", taken from a different angle and location. This boat is located in Noyo Harbor in Ft. Bragg, California. This is a more detailed closeup of the boat. You can see the missing planks from the hull up near the bow. The wood that is remaining is weathered, rotted, and covered in a green moss. Further back you can see barnacles up near the rail as this was captured at low tide. The cabin is missing most of the windows and the lower door. The paint is pealing off of the cabin. The stern is completely submerged.
