You must not be from the US and or Germany/Canada
#UncleSam imprisons immigrants as long as they can in inhumane conditions including solitary confinement. The lights are on 24/7. There is substandard/inedible food. Many ICE prisons routinely deny medical care and sexually assaulted by guards and other staff.
It is only through the efforts of international news media, their families and their country's consulates that they are even sent back home.
