Got to say, Op-Pop-Pop has some pretty good game play, but it's the look which sells it. #VisualPinball

There's something I really love about Gilligan's Island. It's one of the only pinball tables I've played where I instantly understood the rules and objectives. I just think it's fun. I've played it a few times on location.
Quite a beautiful version of Warlok was released recently for #visualpinball. Incredibly fun table!
Man, you would think having a vpin would equal less amount of work, but man it's hard. Part of the problem is running the newest version of everything, but the newer betas look and operate *so* much better. You'll be going along fine for weeks, and then the next week you're fully re-installing the system and crying. I never did finish setting up Future Pinball because Visual Pinball takes up so much of my time.
I've been finding myself more and more interested in building a vpin cabinet but haven't wanted to use Windows with vpx. Luckily they seemed to have a Standalone command line that works on #ubuntu, #fedora, #macosx, and #android. Dmds and the various displays are either working or in progress.
Early stages but my initial testing of the build does show promise. Couple of tables tested worked on Ubuntu. #visualpinball #vpx #pinball
