I was looking into alternatives like <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/yabai" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#yabai</a> or <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/aerospace" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#aerospace</a>. As yabai requires the user to deactivate SIP, aerospace seems to be a great alternative. So far amazed!

maunz, maunz, baby!<a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/komorebi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#komorebi</a> is the only thing i miss from windows. luckily there is <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/yabai" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#yabai</a> on macos so daily work is not that miserable.

DmitriyРешил упороться и начать пользоваться на MacOS тайловым менеджером окон, выбирал между <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/AeroSpace" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#AeroSpace</a> и <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Yabai" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Yabai</a>. В итоге выпал пал на AeroSpace, в Yabai меня оттолкнуло выключение защиты ОС для полноценной работы менеджера, в AeroSpace такого нет и не нужно ставить еще один сервис дя хоткеев. После нескольких часов использования, удобно, но немного не привычно, надо еще подучить и запомнить хоткеи, и настроить автоматическое открытие приложений на других рабочих столах.

Jake HamiltonSo I completely nuked my <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/Nix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Nix</a> install on my <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/MacBook" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#MacBook</a>. I uninstalled <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/NixDarwin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#NixDarwin</a>, uninstalled Nix, upgraded the OS, reinstalled Nix, and then ran `nix-darwin switch` on my existing config. The longest part was waiting for <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/macOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#macOS</a> to update! Everything is exactly as I had it, apps, tools, config, and all! Even my tiling window manager (named <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/Yabai" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Yabai</a>) is working great after switching to the latest version!

I have built my own tiling window manager on top of <a href="https://ruhr.social/tags/Hammerspoon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Hammerspoon</a>. I indeed use Two Pane and Tall. I do not like BSP. That is also the reason <a href="https://ruhr.social/tags/yabai" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#yabai</a> did not click for me.
