@GregCocks Just was looking into qgis to handle some Government of Canada data. Data which I should not have to either download multiple maps, or use GIS software to handle... I'm leaning toward the "better option" is to download several maps. Well, the easier option, and it's not a huge pain. But learning the tools might be worth it in the end.

@GregCocks Looking at what I was looking for, it came up, and was reported to be a relatively easy to understand gis system. And it's free-libre so that's something that very much appeals to me.
