New blog post: Introducing Microsoft Fabric.
For the past 18 months I've been working on Microsoft Fabric, including running a private preview program that included thousands of data practitioner users from nearly 200 customer organizations. With today's announcement at #MicrosoftBuild, I can finally share publicly about this work.

I think this is a record for "first 24 hours" blog post performance for my little blog. It's not quite ten thousand hits, but it's pretty close.

Edit: On second thought, I should probably respond more pedantically to the word "fruition." We're not done - we're still getting started. This week's public preview announcement is a big deal, but there's a lot more in the works that we probably won't be talking about publicly for a few months.
Now I need to start working on my Fabric session deck for Data Ceili in Dublin... in two weeks.
@SQLAllFather can't wait for the updates. This solves a huge need I've seen and while there will be a learning curve, ultimately I think most people will like it!
