#Reddit's recent video framing change really sucks for the #FGC. It auto-crops videos to match a certain (taller) aspect ratio. Unfortunately in fighting games, a lot of time is spent in the corner, at the sides of the screen leading to videos like this. Pretty much all the FGC content I follow is significantly worse because of this change.
I get why auto-cropping is a big thing for product and UX individuals, but ultimately the author's *intent* should trump everything. This is just one example where that intent is not being respected and how it directly impacts sub-communities with niche use cases.
