Dad sent me this one late last night:
“The Robert E. Simanek went by tonight. She is a heavy life vessel designed for carrying other vessels. They clear the low main deck and flood ballast tanks to sink the ship down into the water. Then they float another vessel over the deck and bring it out of the water for transport.”
(I love how, if you zoom in, it looks like the house across the river is sitting on the upper deck.)
