@strangetruther @codinghorror Discourse is fabulous. My company has used it for a customer forum for 7 years so I’m using it a couple of hours a day. Super happy with it. Though I *would* like to be able to mark a post as unread.

I was looking forward to the new chat feature but so far it hasn’t gotten any traction in our community. But Discourse has been really fantastic for our community, I promote it to anyone who will listen and I even gave a conference talk about it.

@samsaffron @strangetruther @codinghorror That’s awesome! Mastodon for the win! I do have an account on meta.discourse.org but I missed this. Darn, I could have been marking as read for over 3 years. I will use this almost every day.
