“A common fallacy is to assume authors of incomprehensible code will somehow be able to express themselves lucidly and clearly in comments.” — Kevlin Henney
If you have trouble expressing programming ideas in English, you may be excited to learn that they've invented special grammars for the express purpose of expressing programming ideas more succinctly and clearly. They call them "programming languages."

@tottinge comments? what comments?!
@sleepyfox @tribaal @kwramm I'm a little spoiled. I don't encounter all that much code that doesn't make pretty obvious and intuitive sense unless it's in a place where they don't do CI, or CD, or TDD, or refactoring -- basically where all the methods are long and stringy with a bunch of primitive parameters and located in seemingly random file choices.
@tottinge @sleepyfox @tribaal well, I'm in the games industry
