Think about it.. phone scams in order to be profitable need to have as many people calling as possible. This means it’s basically a call centre. This also means they suffer from the same weakness of a call centre..
* Minimal training
* Agents read from a script
* Unreasonable KPIs
* Management unable to listen to every call until after the fact
* High stress for low pay (You think the agents get paid well?)
Now apply those weakness to methods of taking them down. So a reasonable trained agent who is set up to cause havoc to a scammer could do a lot of damage.
