But I think it’s going to help us… Our design team has some very nuanced requirements around typography, and our brand guidelines are super specific about color use so hopefully it will help us strike a good balance on our site. One thing I'll mention: the important consideration for contrast is spatial, not color. Font weight/line thickness does more for contrast perception than color distance.
One way to think of this is, luminance distance needs to be increased to support thinner strokes.
