That's why FediBlock exists.
Honestly, I wouldn't care so much if they kept to themselves, but they come on our normal instances to say it to people here, so we have to block them before they do that. (Hence why I'm searching for the two slurs in your post)
yeah, trying to make the case we could have less fedi blocks if the most aggressive folks were not welcome on their servers.

But that's the thing, they make those servers for those people. If you go look at the admin accounts for pretty much all of those servers, they're always dropping N bombs and bragging about their block bots and complaining about "woke Obama cancelculture feminazis" or whatever it is they're calling it these days when people lay down rules like "Don't harass black users for being black."
We aren't blocking Kollectiva, Liberdon, or any other server just for being political, we're blocking servers whose owners don't see a problem with their users harassing our users.
I should talk to the admins of those better servers. I'd like a new covenant. my understanding is some servers want to be very strict with who they federate with. I think we should work on there being a dominant middle ground position.

Keep in mind that servers don't whitelist, they blacklist. Federation happens automatically.
You are probably running into these Nazi instances because "liberal City" is an obviously political one, but if you can get some cross-traffic with servers like TechHub, .Art, Writing.Exchange, MSTDN, Meow, etc, you should have better interactions from there.
You may want to look at TechHub's blocklist, on our about page, and make sure we're blocking/limiting the same servers. We are pretty hesitant to block, so it's pretty much guaranteed that every server on that list has a serious problem.
