@donwatkins that's just crazy Don. As a refurbisher it makes me happy because I'm going to see more Macs come in, but it makes me sad to think about current Mac Intel users having to upgrade so soon...
@chaslinux My wife has a MacBook Air but when it finally goes I'm going to switch her to Linux.
@donwatkins I have some scripts on github for the 2015 air to enable wifi and the webcam (Xubuntu), not sure about newer models.

I use my MacMini "late 2014" model as daily driver. Once my switch to Linux is completed, with margin, is the macMini a reasonable Linux candidate?
