Oddly the same thing seems to happen here, Once laws ahve passed throigh due process in the Commons and Lords, they are passed to the Monarch who signs them. (part of the role of a constitutional monarch)
This seems to be done behind closed doors though.

Yep. Here’s a perfect example … protections for pregnant women on the workplace. Seems like something cable news could be digging into other than nonstop stranded travelers at the airport stories.

It’s very important to always post a reputable source for all claims. It doesn’t matter if what you say is true, or aligns with the general biases of your audience. Always post a source.

@dhstokyo Great question. Do people want to know? Would they watch the network explaining it? Maybe it should be what is offered and get people to return to caring about the actual governing instead of all the gossip.

also would be soooo nice if all headlines, summaries, etc had the essential facts instead of the juiciest outrage. "You can look it up" seems rather moronic in retrospect, sorry for the careless reply there

@dhstokyo it's over 50% renaming post offices. A few changes around the edges of existing policy. One minor change to human trafficking laws.
Seems disingenuous to call it important or especially news worthy.
