A couple photos from my blog in April of 2005! I wasn’t sure what camera I had back then, but a little sleuthing turns up Nikon D70, my first DSLR. The blog post had a half dozen comments trying to ID the bird, consensus was Ruby-crowned Kinglet.

Slightly different shot of kinglet, you can see its toes clasping the branch and how the slender sticks-for-legs fold a bit to provide balance and it leans forward to look somewhere.

@RegGuy Photos on my blog all got coverted to jpg (or worse!) and lost all of the meta. When I wrote the blog scripts I was worried about all of the "massive" storage everything would be using. Simpler times. ";^)
