My ChatGPT usage at work made me think about using GenAI in general. I came to the conclusion that you must be experienced in the field you are asking questions to be able to distinguish good answers from bullshit. My thought.
@numericcitizen that could be said about anything your told. It’s hard to distinguish someone telling you bullshit if it’s out of your domain. Information validation is always tricky. I remember early neurolinguistic programming where your modifiers in discussions like “I saw this on Discovery” or “read an article” creates ambiguous weight outside of the speaker thus lending credibility. Trump does this horribly spectacularly. “They say”, “I was told”, “an important person told me..”
