If I set my iPad to use US English so that Apple Intelligence can do its magic, my iPhone is also set to use the same settings automatically. What?? What is going on here?

I want to use my iPad in full US English for Apple Intelligence testing but leave my iPhone alone so that I can use it in French Canadian is the old Siri stuff. 😳😔😡

@numericcitizen Every time I hear about Apple being excessively opinionated in a way that doesn't respect my choices, I think of the South Park cable guys from that skit. Thanks for that image, Louis Rossmann.
