Vila Real de Santo António (VRSA)

VRSA is the most southeast town in Portugal. It's on the border to Spain. There’s a 9-minute ferry ride across the river (the country & time zone switches in the middle of the river).

This place is delightful:
To the south of town is a pine tree forest before you reach the ocean.
To the east of town is the Guadiana river.
To the north is a nature preserve.
