This is my favorite Thai restaurant in LA Thai town.
I go there with my Thai friend, who tells them in the NE Thai dialect to please make the papaya salad so spicy that I can’t eat it and my friend will need to go to the bathroom immediately.
And they do, and it’s glorious. And it’s better and spicier than the vast majority of.. even Bangkok restaurants haha (on par with good restaursnts in Isaan)

@skinnylatte damn, I definitely gotta add this one to my long list of Thai restaurants to visit in Thai Town. Best Thai food I’ve found in North America.

I don’t love Jitlada but appreciate what they do.
@skinnylatte I was excited to try Jitlada since it’s one of a few southern Thai restaurants, but yeah I wasn’t that impressed. Southern Thai places are so hard to come by here and there’s just so many central and Isaan places 
@skinnylatte I actually quite liked Siam Sunset. Good mix of the good ol’ Teochew Thai I grew up eating

I had an amazing Teochew Thai place on my block in sf but they just closed, I’m so sad
