The Manzanar Baseball Project recreated a baseball field made by incarcerated Japanese American citizens during their internment in World War II ⚾

Dan Kwong, a performing artist working on this project, joined us on as we continue our celebration of #AAPIHeritageMonth.

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) was the national airline of the People’s Republic of China which began operating scheduled domestic flights in 1950. China opened its borders to foreign travelers in the late 1970s. By the mid-1980s CAAC was offering long-haul service to SFO. It was divided up into six different Chinese airlines in starting in 1984 with a dedicated airline for international flights, Air China.
