#Avowed story and graphics are AAA, and coming from a team of what, 80-odd?, not 4/500 like Starfield. Recommended

I like how the characters in Avowed always give you directions. I turned on waypoint markers, and try to just use the directions and the map. I think it makes for a more fun experience.
Falling damage? Never heard of it. 
Reminds me of playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard, where I was paranoid about jumping long distances until eventually I figured out that the game really doesn't care how far down you jump.
OMG I just want to try Avowed.
My Xbox was perpetually stuck at 0% downloading. Turns out it's too old to install the game. Why is there a download option?
No cloud gaming option

So, I try to install it on PC. Download gets stuck after 400MB. Can't get it to resume. Eventually restart and finally it continues.
Click play. Get a popup saying my motherboard needs an update. Then the game crashes.
So, here I am updating my bios. Maybe then I can play?

That this game has no photo mode is just a crime. It's so absurdly beautiful at times that I wanted to make screenshots so badly but there are interface elements everywhere.
