I "ended the Iberian struggle through means of force" although what held me up was 12 years spent at the end converting two of my primary kingdom's counties to my culture (Galician.) Which I could have done any time in the past 100 years if I had been looking ahead, I guess?

I have to say that while my _methods_ were generally military, the realm I built was pretty accepting. So it was a little disappointing that the three rewards on this path are "you can spread your religion, but everybody hates you", "you can spread your culture, but everybody hates you" or "you can spread both, but everybody really hates you a lot." The benefits were not as great given that I already controlled much of the land, and was allied to the rest.

The holdings over in Italy were the result of a marriage to a local reigning duchess.

I swore I wouldn't get involved in Byzantine conflicts this playthrough, but that didn't last. The game really seems to favor endless civil wars within the empire.

No os he contado que ayer desinstalé #HeartsofIron4. Terminé la última partida que estaba haciendo por cazar unos cuantos logros y lo desinstalé al acabar porque la verdad es que lleva bastante tiempo aburriéndome, y entre eso, que a cada vez hay más DLCs, más caros y de peor calidad, y que la gente con la que solía jugar en multi ya no juega...

Ahora solo tengo un título de Paradox instalado y es #Victoria3. Igual en algún momento más adelante volveré a #CrusaderKings3 o #Stellaris pero de momento ahí queda la cosa. Igual estoy saliendo de mi map gamer era (?)

I get madly invested in the family lives of my #CrusaderKings3 characters.

Previously on #CK3 : a large Irish dynasty led by a caring patriarch. I decided he couldn't bear to see his kids married to people who wouldn't care for them. Unlike his fathers, he married only once. Allowed all his kids to grow up with all the rowdy, independent choices. I imagined his family evenings as loud and chaotic, and all his kids telling their friends and relatives that Dad doesn't have a braincell but he's very kind.

Now I've got an Anglo-Saxon schemer in Northumberland with a learned but unworldly brother. I'm still developing my ideas about this character, but I've already imagined an exasperated conversation with the brother about how the Normans have invaded, so now we have to look out for ourselves.

Pelailin eilen Crusader Kings 3:sta joltisenkin tauon jälkeen, ja naurahdin hieman kun törmäsin Skandinavian valtakunnan kruununprinssipariin Valtsuun ja Ásaan. Tuli jotenkin habituksesta mieleen modernit vanhemmat.

Valtsu on näemmä muodikkuuteen menevä olutharrastaja, joka selvästi on ottanut liikaa liiankin kanssa. Ása sitten taas kunnon suorittaja, jolla alkaa silmänalusista päätellen loppua jaksaminen kesken neljän lapsen kanssa.
