Unfortunately it's necessary to say this now in regards to the data purge and restoration that seems to be occurring.

Trust can be lost in an instant, regaining it is a long road.

The CDC has lost my trust, and a post hoc partial restoration of data is only one step in a long line to restore that trust.

As a single error in a journal paper brings in to question the validity of the whole, so will the nature of the restoration, and the purge as a whole
