Thanks to the friends of GDG Tashkent for having me last night! It was great to be able to speak at their meetup about modern Android UI and large screens, great community!
I’m still buzzing from the energy at "Infusing Java with AI" talk in Thessaloniki!
Big thanks to #GDGCloudThessaloniki & #SKGJavaMeetup for the awesome event—and to all who joined, asked questions & shared your passion!
Loved geeking out with you all!
Chystám se na letošní konference #GoogleCloudNext v Las Vegas. 4 dny, desítky nachozených kilometrů, sdílení, otázek a NDA ukázek. Jako #GDE (Google Developer Expert) a CTO AppSatori, Google Cloud Premier Partner, se chystám i neveřejné sessions.
With all the announcements regarding Gemini 2.0 (Flash) and so forth, one should not forget that the Gemini 1.0 models have been retired. There are four models less available on the Google AI Gemini API.
Check your apps and code and consider to upgrade...
Improving Function Calling in the Gemini SDK for .NET. Right now, it's heavily under development but making good progress. The custom JSON serialization is done, and Gemini returns function calls based on the prompts.

Vertex AI in express mode is the fastest way to start building generative AI applications on Google Cloud. Signing up in express mode is quick and easy, and it doesn't require entering any billing information.
Easy to integrate in your .NET apps.
Did you know that you can generate images using the Gemini SDK for .NET?
Yes, it provides types and methods to Google's Imagen 3 models. Check out the latest NuGet package v2.1.8 and show your creations.
Anyone else seeing "Preview" on @GitHub issue page?
I wonder what the changes are...
The folks over at Google #Gemini keep me busy for sure. After yesterday's bugfix of the Gemini SDK for .NET with improved ResponseSchema today's release includes a new model and new ModalityTokenCount based properties.

I am happy to announce that I have been renewed as a @googledevs Developer Expert (GDE) for Angular and Web Technologies for the seventh consecutive year. I will continue to bring developer communities and Google product groups together to improve the web! #gde #angular #webdev #chrome
Humbled and grateful for this recognition.
I'm excited to continue my journey to share tech/dev information with fellow developers and community members throughout 2025.
After 10 years, in 2025 I'll no longer be a #GDE,
Makes sense, I wasn't as involved with the community as I used to be.
Still, I'm happy with such a good run.
Hello Johannesburg!
Great to be here again. Looking forward to meeting lots of people at the Agents of AI: AgentCON and the Microsoft AI Tour these days...
How do you create JSON Schema from .NET types?
Recently I struggled (and kind of still struggle) with this task as part of the Gemini SDK for .NET and its ability to generate structured output in JSON specifying a response schema.
New year, more progress and opportunities.
Just released a new version 2.0.2 of the Gemini SDK for .NET adding latest models and a couple of fixes to it.
Didn't expect to see this kind of engagement on GitHub.
I spent the majority of my time coding on contractual work using private repositories only. Usually on Azure DevOps.
