Erwartet die #PolizeiSWS wirklich, dass Besoffene sich so verantwortungsbewusst verhalten, dass sie vor der illegalen Fahrt noch einen einen Helm aufziehen?
Von Reflexen und Körperspannung bei Betrunkenen reden wir nicht.
Dass die "Kopfverletzung" im Gesichtsbereich war, in welcher der #Helm wohl kaum wirkt... auch egal.

I've been using #saltstack for years, but slowly coming to the realization it might be time to move on. Not really a fan of #ansible or #terraform so I'm not sure I would migrate to that. Reluctantly thinking it might be time to bite the bullet and properly give #k8s a chance. Not a huge fan of verbose yaml everywhere, so there's a part of me that is tempted to write something higher level, that outputs to yaml (I know #helm exists, but it also looks quite wordy (yamly?)) 🤔

I have a feeling that there is a need for a structure that maintains helm charts for popular open source apps.

Pros:

- doesn't depend on a single maintainer
- can easily onboard more maintainers
- can have a consistent set of guidelines on how to write/use the charts
- can be paid by upstream to take this responsibility

Cons:

- can work against upstream's commercial interests
- requires governance / operations overhead
- competes with Bitnami?

Well, today was a yak shaving expedition and a half, wanted to organise my photos a little, which made me realise there's been a decent amount of Immich releases since last I updated it, which needed a new ML extension on postgres, which lead me to finally move postgres away from the one included in the Immich helm chart, which lead me to update my main postgres as well.

After all this was done, I finally went to organise my photos, but honestly, the new ML extension makes Immich so much faster that it was worth it.

Immich keeps on positively surprising me.

Was looking for a #FOSS solution for managing/tracking the type of 'assets' I and my family own/have in multiple households - including laptops, chargers, cables, and so on.

This is most definitely overkill considering how this software is outright enterprise material, and not family/personal use - but what I ended up discovering and deploying in my #homelab is #Snipe-IT and it's really good (and as mentioned, super powerful)!

Just published a simple #Helm chart on my repo to get it up and running on your #Kubernetes cluster.
