Day 35 of #The100DayProject The rumor that the Mayas thought 2012 would be the end of the world was not true. They did however think it was the start of a new cycle called bʼakʼtun lasting roughly 394 years. I remember telling colleagues in 2015 that we were heading towards a second dark ages. I’m convinced with all the denial of science that we are fully I. It now. The Mayans were imo not very wrong with their prediction…

Day 33 of #The100DayProject
There is a LOTR #FountainPen which is always mentioned when the question is asked to name a hideous pen. With the prompt #Ring I had to think of this pen and drew it. I actually appreciate it more now that I have. Somebody had a lot of fun designing this with all the details. I would never buy it (price is really hideous) but if somebody gifted it, I wouldn’t get rid of it. It would actually fit well in my rather eclectic collection 😂 #PastInktober #InkyParker51

Day 31 of #The100DayProject
#Bait made me think of bait for fish, so initially I wanted several rows of bait fish, but then my thoughts drifted to what bait is used on people. In the #FountainPen world for sure it’s limited editions. I’m a big sucker for those 🙈😅. The next upcoming LE that is gathering a lot of attention is of course TCMC’s FP with Esterbrook. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many people enthusiastic over the same pen 😅 #PastInktober #WaterColour #Midori #InkyParker51

I have a blue Sailor Fude de Mannen nib which I like a lot except for the length not fitting a regular pencase. At a workshop I got the green, but I don't like the angle as much, so it was on my list getting sold. However, each time I need some branches drawn, I reach for this pen as it has the perfect ink in it and I've sort of grown attached to this combo.
