So I was talking to someone about space gravity and I mentioned the scene in Diamonds Are Forever which has always baffled me.

There's a fake moon landing being filmed or something, and James Bond gets into a moon buggy thing and zips away while people are shooting at him. What always baffles me -- because it's been on British TV a lot and I've seen the scene a few times -- is that the astronauts try to stop him but they do it in slow motion.

Anyway I found this thread on it and ... well, still no answers.
