@creckling @MakerTube @dingodoppelt@makertube.net We're actually using #jamulus :) We are on a server in Frankfurt, the drummer Henrique is from Portugal and has a latency of around 70ms. The pianist Antonio is from Italy and has around 50ms, the singer Fina and me are in germany and have around 20ms latency. The higher the latency, the harder to play. It depends heavily on the instrument and the player how much latency is manageable but we even played across the big pond with americans and canadians. Still feels incredible everytime :)

#AudioMo Day 29: Jona's New Drums.
A quick jam in which Jona, our drummer tests out his new Roland kit, and Alf the bassist and myself try out random chords to see where we go, having no real idea beforehand. We do this a lot and it's great fun to see if we're on the same page or not.
Recorded on #Jamulus in December 2024.

#AudioOverIP / Internet…

Was das nächste Mal nehmen? #StudioLink? #Jamulus?

#AudioMo Day 19: Last night on #Jamulus, our drummer had a long delay for some reason, so while he restarted all the things and tried to solve it, I jumped on drums.
Martin (guitar from NL) and Alf (Bass from UK) make up the current trio.
I was using addictive Drums 'Vintage Dead' kit which was ultra-dry, and playing on a Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S61 MK3 keyboard.

I wanted a version of Incongruous Winter that I could take to my band Jamtastic that I play with using #Jamulus, so I got #Suno to make this rather funky Smooth Jazz version of it with guitars.
I showed it to Martin our guitarist for the first time last night and he liked it, so hopefully we can begin fleshing it out for the band at a later date. 2/2

Last night's rehearsal went well. This is another track recorded on #Jamulus called 'Earth to Alf.' Alf is the bass player.
Listen out for Martin's amazingly funky wah-wah sound in the middle. Just beautiful!
I'll try and keep these posts threaded up to the gig if we get a night with good copies of tracks for those interested to hear Jamulus raw and uncut as it were.
When the sound breaks up I just assume Jake is downloading something. 😂

With just 11 days to go until quite an important gig in #Belgium we're just making sure we've got the stuff down properly. Here's a track called 'We Don't Know' (and yes, the irony is not lost on me) recorded with my band Jamtastic on #Jamulus last night.
It's a long one, over 10 minutes but fun I think. A lot of chords and a lot of changes. This version is not perfect.
