Another stray cat seen when we were in Rabat recently. This was in the Kasbah of the Udayas, the twelfth century fortress in Morocco's capital, and just one of a great many cats we saw in the country.

A long day of filming (and waiting), beginning just before midday yesterday at Café à l'Anglaise, on Tangier's Rue de la Kasbah, with a preliminary interview by Vittorio Bongiorno, while my son, Finn, assisted with 2nd unit videography.

I took these pictures in the #Telouet #Kasbah in #Morocco not long ago. Sadly I just read the place is now partially lost. #Earthquake devastation in the Atlas is extensive.
My thoughts are with Morocco, with its kind people and with the relatives of those who are now gone.

In a country where water is scarce and precious, building a public fountain is an act of great generosity. In many places, where two narrow alleys meet, there are public fountains, adorned with tiles in arabesque and columns with elaborate carvings, offering the most precious gift: water.
