I purchased the cheapest #Kindle (2022 6 inches) to carry around in my backpack and be able to read #books while I am not at home while leaving my adored #Kobo Libra 2 back at home to avoid damaging or losing it.

Unfortunately, the Amazon software that comes in this device is really poor and annoying. It feels like a toy if you are used to something advanced like #KOReader.

Fortunately, it is now possible to install KOReader in these new devices thanks to a new #jailbreak tool called #LanguageBreak (
https://github.com/notmarek/LanguageBreak), which was released just a few months ago.

After a few tries, I managed to jailbreak my device and then install the #KUAL launcher before installing KOReader.

It is not a trivial process that will probably make you spend a few hours until you get it right. This includes figuring out what tools you have to download and install depending on your device and its firmware version. But it is all worth it at the end!
