Bluesky users over the bridge...Hear me out: ActivityPub and Nostr are waiting for you. Run your own Fedi server, run your own Nostr relay. Real decentralised social media exists. And it is not Bluesky:

2. #BridgyFed is making open systems increasingly seamless. I don’t even need to use #Openvibe any more, except to post to #Nostr. I just post here, then interact with the increasing numbers of bridges users on #Bluesky

just for fun, the #nostr relay https://relay.tchncs.de is up. currently using the strfry project, unusually using lmdb. no idea how well it actually scales in this usecase but the dev sounds quite confident.
still need to figure other stuff like proper moderation policy plugins and ip detection in incus out.
the relay will more or less silently reject any event if your pubkey is not on the whitelist.
a simple ansible playbook was written for this deployment...might upload to gitlab in the next days depending on time and stuff

I really want to see open social networks bridging, but right now it seems that all these platforms are all too different and not interoperable. I love what #Bridgy is trying to achieve with the #fediverse and #Bluesky, along with #Mostr on #Nostr, but I still feel so much more would be needed.
