Uh-oh, looks like #Samsung is locking down their #Android phones by removing the option to unlock the bootloader starting withe #OneUI8, effectively killing CustomROM (such as #LineageOS) support: sammobile.com/news/say-goodbye

Looks like to be a worldwide change: winfuture.de/news,152535.html (German)

NavStar in One UI 8 provides back gesture decoration

NavStar, which is a Samsung Good Lock module that allows you to customize the navigation bar on your phone, has been updated for One UI 8.0 users to add a new feature that takes customization to the whole new level, called Back Gesture Decoration. This allows you to use your own picture to decorate your back gesture, but it’s best used with transparent clip arts.

According to Tarun Vats, you can now customize the back gesture by navigating to the NavStar settings and scrolling down to Customize the back gesture > Customize gesture icon, and tapping on it. From there, you can select your own custom back gesture icon as you can see below.

To update NavStar on your One UI 8 device, you’ll need to either check for updates directly through the Good Lock app or through the Galaxy Store. If there is an update, you can install the update to get the feature. If you still don’t see the feature, wait for the newer version of NavStar to roll out.
