Gion Matsuri 2025 — Niwatori & Kankoboko Floats

The Niwatori float will be decorated with a tapestry made in 16th-century Flanders (Belgium).

Kankoboko was destroyed by fire in 1788 but restored in 1839. It has the largest body and roof among all the floats.
